Wing Chun Wooden Dummy

Quality Kung Fu Wooden Dummies made by master woodturning craftsman and supplied direct to you.

Lui's WoodWorks has been in operation in Brisbane since 1993.  Our craftsmen specialise in creating hand crafted furniture for individuals and also commercial organisations and use the same skills to create authentic Muk Yang Jong Wooden dummies for Kung Fu Schools and individuals wanting to improve their Wing Chun skills.

The Muk Yang Jong (wooden dummy) is a traditional Chinese martial arts training device associated with the martial art of Wing Chun and other Kung Fu styles of Southern China. The Man Yang Jong provides today's martial artist with a convenient practice partner.

The Wooden Dummy shows correct execution of techniques, proper positioning relative to an opponent, circling footwork, kicking, arm and leg conditioning, sensitivity development to weight resistance, sticking, and other important principles.
